Active Golf Training to Open Second Site at The Links at NorthFork Golf Course
Grand Opening Scheduled for February 2-3ST. PAUL, Minn., Jan. 16 // -- Active Golf Training ("AGT") announced that it will open its second training facility on January 21, 2008 in the club house at the Links at NorthFork Golf Course in Ramsey, MN. A February 2-3 grand opening celebration is planned at both AGT locations.
The NorthFork facility will include seven hitting booths, a putting and short game area and exercise space. Members and class participants will have access to the latest in training aids including video analysis, the Science & Motion Puttlab and Balance Lab, launch monitor and the AGT proprietary Resistance Belt System. In its arrangement with The Links at NorthFork, AGT will continue its player development programs when warmer weather arrives using NorthFork's outside practice facilities.
The staff of the NorthFork facility will include Jason Erickson, AGT founder and VP of Golf Operations, Chris Ramberg, who will serve as General Manager of the NorthFork location, Chris Bailey, Assistant Golf Professional at Hillcrest CC, along with other golf professional instructors and a fitness trainer. The facility will be open seven days a week until 10:00 PM Monday through Friday and 5:00 on Saturday and Sunday.
Active Golf Training offers classes for beginners to professionals, male and female of all ages, including senior classes. AGT specializes in team training for high schools and colleges and in 2007 worked with students from thirteen different high schools resulting in eighteen students qualifying for the state tournament, including thirteen girls.
The Company's first facility is located at 3806 Dunlap St. North in Arden Hills in the southwest quadrant of I-694 and Lexington Avenue next door to Acceleration North.
